What am I looking at?
Subject: A strong woman stands alone, with her back to the viewer. She is pushing against a wall or vertical surface in front of her; with one hand she appears to be breaking through that surface, and with the other she is searching and exploring the space. She casts a luminous shadow onto the surfaces before and below her.
Texture: Visual texture has been created with many layers of oil/cold wax applied and scraped back or removed; the remaining physical texture is very smooth.
Primary colors: blues, greenish blues, blue-grey, earth tones, ochre, coral, and warm neutrals.

Local Pickup: no charge
If you pick up at the studio, I will appropriately wrap the painting for hand-carry transport at no charge. This may be bubble wrap, stretch film, and potentially cardboard (depending on the size of the piece) but will not include a box or crate.
