What am I looking at?
Subject: A man of indeterminate age lifts a box above his head, letting it rest on his shoulders. His head is bent forward with the weight of the box, and his arms are raised to carry. His face and the front of his body are in shadow.
Texture: Thick layers of oils with cold wax medium have been applied in layers, and abraded or scraped back to reveal layers underneath. The resulting patina has a visceral, textural surface.
Primary colors: Blues, earthy browns, and light neutrals

Local Pickup: no charge
If you pick up at the studio, I will appropriately wrap the painting for hand-carry transport at no charge. This may be bubble wrap, stretch film, and potentially cardboard (depending on the size of the piece) but will not include a box or crate.
